Once repaired, ultrasound probes typically are sent via plane back to the customer. At times there has been concerns that this plane trip can cause issues with oil filled cavity probes such as TEE or some 3D/4D probes. ProbeLogic now have a vacuum chamber suitable to simulate the pressures on board the plane. All probes that could suffer from pressure variation issues are now tested in this chamber prior to dispatch.
