What you are seeing is a standard GE RIC5-9 Transvaginal probe.

Over time, the main bladder has decayed, leaking coupling fluid throughout the device and severely discoloured it’s usually clear appearance. Notice also the green ‘mould-like’ substance – copper oxide which has built up in the crevices of the probe due to corrosion. If this probe was brought into us just a little sooner the repair would have been much easier and a lot cheaper for our client.
